A nonprofit organization created by people with disabilities. We provide services that promote independence and the inclusion of people with disabilities in their communities. We are a non-residential center for independent living. Independence Now promotes the independent living philosophy and equal access for all people with disabilities.

Volunteer Now You can make a difference by becoming a Volunteer Peer Mentor for someone who lives in a nursing facility but wants to move into independent living. While they wait for housing, you can keep their spirits up and help them learn about community resources.
