Transportation Action Group

Do you have problems with transportation?
Have you ever been really late for an appointment?

Our Transportation Action Group is made up of people with disabilities from both Montgomery and Prince George's County. They care about making Metro Access and all forms of public transit better.

Transportation Action Group Accomplishments:

City of Bowie made 100% of their bus stops accessible at our request.
City of Hyattsville is doing the same.
Turned out a big group of people to oppose the proposed fare hike and service limitations to MetroAccess in 2003.
Recruited MetroAccess riders to complete an online survey of their experiences.
