National Family Caregivers Month

National Family Caregivers Month (NFC), celebrated each November, is a time to recognize and honor family caregivers across the country.

Celebrating Family Caregivers during NFC month enables all of us to raise awareness of family caregiver issues, celebrate the efforts of family caregivers, educate family caregivers about self-identification, and increase support for family caregivers.

The pandemic brings even more challenges for family caregivers. According to the Caregiver Action Network, this is a time of #CaregivingInCrisis for millions of family caregivers who are currently experiencing some sort of emotional or financial hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic. If you or someone you love is a family caregiver in need of support, you can visit caregiveraction.org or call their free Caregiver Help Desk at 855-227-3640.
