A winter under quarantine means we’re looking for ways to stay entertained while stuck at home. One way we can do this is to celebrate the Danish art of Hygge (pronounced “hoo-ga”). This concept cannot be translated to one single word but encompasses a feeling of cozy contentment and well-being through enjoying the simple things in life.
Nina took time this weekend to get cozy and content by donning her favorite soft sweater and enjoying a cup of cocoa around a firepit. You can also celebrate Hygge by doing things like lighting some candles (safely) or simply cuddling under a warm blanket.
Celebrating Hygge is a great way to relax and take time for yourself while staying safe this winter!
