Maryland Youth Leadership Forum alumnus Noah, Class of 2020, shared his thoughts on his experience with Independence Now.

“I learned how to write a poem.

Maryland Youth Leadership Forum impacted me by showing me how to live independently and showing that I am a leader for my rights.

My experience with the Youth Leadership Forum has been great and meeting new people for the first time has not happened in a while.

For the legislative process, I learned that I can speak up more forcefully and show that I am a strong delegate for YLF.

Using my voice to speak to people is a good chance to help bring my life to the next level.

My college life experience will include meeting new people in college for the first time. It will be interesting and how to get to know them based on my good memories at Whitman in the past.”
