The Independence Now Community wishes Denise Sosbe a very Happy Retirement!
Denise began working with Independence Now in 2012. She started as a Travel Trainer and successfully trained many consumers to use the public bus and rail system to get where they wanted to go independently. Then in 2016, Denise became the first Employment Coordinator of Independence Now. Over the years, she worked with consumers supporting them to broaden their thinking on what was possible for their employment goals. She guided consumers on writing resumes and nailing job interviews, then when they were hired Denise provided positive encouragement and support to be successful in their jobs. In the last couple of years, Denise also oversaw our Home and Vehicle Modification Program and helped to get our AT Lending Library established.
