On May the 4th, we’re not only reminded of how much we love Star Wars, but how much we love movies!
Did you know? – Movie theaters offer many accommodations so everyone can enjoy seeing their favorite films on the big screen! Accessible seating, captions, audio descriptions, and other auxiliary aids and services are available upon request or at select showings. These accommodations are required through the ADA. Be sure to contact your theater in advance of a movie’s showing to request any accommodations.
Streaming services like Netflix and Hulu also offer captions and audio descriptions on most of their programs, and adaptive remote controls can be requested from some service providers like Xfinity. Be sure to check out the accessibility features on your favorite streamers and contact your service provider to learn more about their resources to maximize your movie experience!
