“It’s a great day at Independence Now! My name is Felicia and I am a 50-year single mom of 3 kids ages 31, 22, and 15. I am also T-5 paraplegic injured September 3, 1991. Since then I’ve been through my journey permanently confined to a wheelchair an try meeting requirements as they come. I love genuine, authentic people – no judgement to any situation. I don’t like to give up easily or be untruthful . Fashion is a priority, nothing is visible if it don’t have fashion in it, especially with my love of the color of all pink all shades. I try to keep an positive, upbeat attitude about myself and others, no negative Nancy’s allowed. I admire strengths in all people of any age because its just a number. The word disability has the key word ability in it so with a good mindset and education we can do great things together in the world.”
