We’re so very pleased to unveil the Independence Now Voices of Disability Legacy Wall! The wall is in our Silver Spring front office and features quotes from disability rights leaders and historical figures who themselves had disabilities.
Last year, IN hosted a fundraiser to install this enduring legacy in our office to honor the strength and commitment of all who have devoted themselves to this cause. The Legacy Wall draws attention to important figures in disability history and serves as a permanent monument for all who visit.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this project, and a special thank you to our dedicated board members who tirelessly helped spread awareness and garner support.
