“Having been a YLF delegate in 2003 and returning as a volunteer ever since, I wanted to convey my disability–and its benefits–to a larger audience. That audience was the photography community. However, as an artist with an epileptic seizure disorder, I wanted to convey MY artistic process. Instead of just taking photos, I go a step further: I use Adobe Illustrator to produce stylized images of landscapes, using my own photos for reference.
To present my strength to the public, I authored a journal-like article for my local camera club members to read. My efforts received an overwhelmingly inspirational response.
This experience is just one example of how YOU, living with a disability, can celebrate it, using your own unique talent.”
