Independence Now’s Lighting Your Path support group recently took a fun trip to the Hyattsville Regal Royal theater to catch the film The Friend. What a time we had! We were lucky enough to have the whole theater to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. Regal provided accessible headsets so our visually impaired consumers could fully enjoy the twists and turns of this emotional and thought-provoking film. The Friend kept us on the edge of our seats with moments that made us laugh, tear up, and reflect on the power of friendship and resilience. It was an unforgettable outing that brought us all a little closer through popcorn, plot twists, and plenty of smiles.
