The Brain Injury Association of Maryland is a nonprofit organization that provides help, hope, and healing to Marylanders who have sustained a brain injury and their families, through resource coordination, prevention and awareness programs, education programs, self-determination, and advocacy.
Independence Now’s Administrative Coordinator, Denise Robinson, lives with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which limits her ability to participate in some forms of exercise. So she’s developed her own daily self-help routine to maintain her physical and mental well-being in a safe and healthy way.
