How & Where to Get a Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant

Everyone needs a little help, at SOME point. But what happens when you need help with your personal care, e.g., combing or brushing hair, getting into bed, getting out of the tub, or remembering to take medications? The Social Services Department’s In-Home Aide Services (IHAS) Program provides self-care services such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation assistance, etc. to frail seniors and adults with disabilities to help them remain in their own homes.
