Training Dates and Topics

  • Friday, December 10, 10am to 12pm: Problem Solving
  • Monday, December 13, 3pm to 5pm: Rights and Responsibilities

In a Zoom virtual training, you will learn how to express yourself and how to communicate your needs in a positive way. The trainers will tell stories and use role-playing exercises to help you learn. These workshops are participatory and interactive. They are designed to use your experiences to build confidence, knowledge, and leadership qualities.

Here are a few things you will learn about:

  • How can I express my needs so that others understand me
  • How can I solve problems
  • What tools can I use to stay calm when I face a challenge
  • What are my rights
  • How are they different from responsibilities

Register: https://apricot.socialsolutions.com/document/edit/id/new/form_id/747

The Zoom link for the training session will be sent two days before the training, and on the morning of the training.

We encourage providers, program staff, and DSPs to support an individual to participate.
